What fascia and soffit are
The fascia is the board along the roof edge where the gutters attach. The soffit is the underside of the roof overhang. Both take direct sun and rain runoff, so they're usually the first parts of a house to peel or rot.
How we do it
- Check every board for soft spots and replace rotted sections.
- Scrape loose paint and sand edges smooth.
- Caulk joints and prime bare wood.
- Paint two coats in exterior trim paint.
